The world’s professional running championships havo commenced. Copper (Victoria) is defending his title. McLennan (New Zealand champion) is imable to compete owing to gastric trpuble. A. Robex*tson (Victoria) won both the 75 and the 130 yards in 71 seconds and 12 3-5 seconds respectively. Robertson leads with 18 points, Hun 1 - ter (South Australia) is second with four points, and Parker (Queensland) is third with three. The 100 and 22Q yards events are yet to be decided.
