CLYDESIDE'S BUSY YEAR. BIGGEST TONNAGE SINCE 1920. (United Press Association— Copyright.) LONDON, December 20. The Clydeside shipbuilding _ and engineering yards had the busiest year since 1920. This year 229 vessels were launched, of a gross tonnage of 462,513 tons last year. The machinery aggregated horse-power, compared with 647,8/8 the year before.
