Herbert William Wellington Upjohn, already awaiting sentence on several charges of fraud, pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court to-day to having stolen a typewriter, valued £22. from Hobday and Co., Auckland; having obtained sporting goods value £5 10s from Frank Wiseman, Auckland: and having obtained clothing and £ll Is from E. C. Brown, Auckland, bv representing that he was connected' with the "Daily Mail,." He also admitted having stolen a leather bag value £3 10s from Francis King. He was remanded for sentence till after sentence on other charges. '
