A SERIES OF FRAUDS
MAN PLEADS GUILTY. OFFENCES AT AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Herbert William Wellington Upjohn, already awaiting sentence on several charges of fraud, pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court to-day to having stolen a typewriter, valued £22. from Hobday and Co., Auckland; having obtained sporting goods value £5 10s from Frank Wiseman, Auckland: and having obtained clothing and £ll Is from E. C. Brown, Auckland, bv representing that he was connected' with the "Daily Mail,." He also admitted having stolen a leather bag value £3 10s from Francis King. He was remanded for sentence till after sentence on other charges. '
