SUICIDE INDICATED
DROWNING IN THE SOUNDS. (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Allen Lawson, aged 38, of Wellington, was drowned at Dryden Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound, on Tuesday. Deceased went out alone in a dinghy. The boat was found drifting with his coat and hat. Letters in the pocket showed an intention to commit suicide. The body has not been recovered.
