•A special meeting of . Hirfdiy]Pea<«' Celebrations Committee ,wasi held .in the hall on Tuesday evening. '" Mr' J.. M. Hampton presided. It-Svas agreed to adhere to the- original programme, and to hold a children's day on-Mon-day, 21st July. Mr W. -J. S. MeDowell was addtxl to the Bonfire Committee, of which Mr J. R". 'Elms was appointed convenor. Messrs J.- Cook> S. \Vatson, and Roy. J. F. Feron were appointed a sub-committeG to ar-rango a sports' programme. A. strong committee of ladies was appointed to arrange for refreshments. The question of holding a combined service in the hall on Sunday, 2(>th, was left to the Rev. J. F. Ferdir (Anglican) and Mr Webber (Presbyterian). ':
