BUSHFELLERS DROWNED.
INVEKCARGILL, July 7, The police have been informed that George Aitkenhead and Thomas Fitz-I-ge'rald, bushfollers, employed by a farmer between .Hedgehope and Tussock Creek, were drowned, in the Makarewa river, which runs through tho farmer's property, this evening. They were crossing tho river, which is in flood, but no-fm-thor details are yet known.
