INCOME TAX EXEMPTIONS.
LONDON, July 5. Mr Chamberlain,' replying to a deputation of Labour rrom the .Triple Alliance, refused to raise the income exemption to £250. He pointed out that a Royal Commission was inquiring into the incidence of the tax.
