BLINDFOLD.
In the current number of the " St. Dunstan's Review" Sir Arthur Pearson tells of an interesting conversation he had with his old friend, .LieutenantGeneral Sir Robert Baden-Powell. 8.P., although he has excellent eyesight, makes a habit of doing many things as though he were blind. He blindfolds himself for regular periods, and "he encourages his boy scouts to do the same thing, recognising that by temporarily depriving themselves of the use of sight they are enabled to cultivate the use of the other senses to a degree .which is impossible so long as the eye is employed.",; ■
