HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
"Niobe," the leading picture in tho change ot programme presented at His Majesty's Theatre last evening, proved to be a very fascinating and charming photo-play. Tho piece-was produe<Mr by tho Famous Players Company, with Hazel Dawn ;is the leading actress, ft, is a. comi'dy-dra.ma which begins .'iOOO years ago and ends to-day. It is a humorous blending of the ancient and modern. The. Famous Players Company has evidently set out to produce something novel and unique and the result is certainly successful. Miss Dawn as "Niobe" lias numerous and unequalled opportunities for the display of her wonderful powers as an actress. It is a charming story of 'an old man who dreams that a statue comes to life. Some of the situations are highly amusing, while the acting, as it usual with this company's artists, is of a very high order. Other films are "Good in. "the Worst of Us" (Vitagra-ph drama). "The Gaument Graphic" and "Deserted at tho Auto" (comedy). A special holiday programme with the star film "Helen's Babies," will bo screened on Saturday afternoon.
