A WILLOWBY EFFORT.
At"ii' meeting held in the WillowbyJ Schoolroom on Monday evening, Mr \V. ' T. Lill presiding, it was resolved to f abandon the proposed Carnival Day. A) subscription list was circulated in tho meeting in aid of the Willowby Red Cross Society, and £56 was promised. A horse was also donated. Subscriptions will be solicited throughout the Willowby district for tho same purpose.
