' remarks on the GalHpoli situation, wore referred to the Prime. Minister- to-day. Mr Mass'ey oxpresfsed regret that the words of the war correspondent and the "Daily Mail " v/cre in a form to disturb the public mind. He had nothing official at present to communicate to the people, and in the absence of definite information from official sources they should not give credence to ovary swooping general assertion about tho results of the operations, against Turkey.
