THE WEATHER.
Last night's frost was a record for the season, 12£ degrees being registered.
Mr Bates's forecast to-day was as follows: -—The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but northerly moderate to strong prevailing. There is a prospect of fair weather, and there will probably be a hard frost to-night. The barometer shows littla movoment. ■
