QUEBEC,' November 7.
The steamer Royal George grounded in the St. Lawrence in a fog. Nine hundred passengers are aboard, 'me situation is seripus. , Assistance has been sent to the Royal George. The passengers are believed to be safe. There is no panic. (Received November 8, 11.45 a.m.)
OTTAWA, November 1. The passengers have been rescued from the Royal George. The vessel is in only six feet of water and is in danger of toppling over. The crew '"s still aboard and tugs are standing by.
