SYDNEY, November 8,
Several firms were involved' in the Spring Street fire, but Messrs Fraser, Uther and Company were the chief sufferers. The total . damage was £25,000, which is covered by insurance.. \ '..,:■
The insurances on the Kent Street "outbreak are £21,000/ including £4500 in the New Zealand Insurance Company.
Another fire caused serious damage to the printing plant of the " Australian Christian World." A fireman rescued in a semi-conscious condition a linotypist who was clinging to a third floor window. .
