ASHBURTON GOLF CLUB.
The competition for the Bermaline Cup was held last Thursday in excellent weather, and the greens (mainly owing to the interest of Mr D. Wood.; the captain) were in splendid order. i Some good cards were handed in— namely, H. McFarlane 8 up and D; Wood 4 up. The former was in very good form, his score for the two rounds being 39 and 40, and he was 7 up on bogey without his handicap. The following are the scores: Result. , H. McFarlane (4 hdep.)... Sup D.
