CLEARING SALE OF FARM STOCK
The National Mortgage and Agency. Company conducted a successful clearing sale-of farm 6tock m the Arcade on Saturday by order of the holder of a bill of sale. There was an exceptionally large attendance of farmers and others, and the entry was cleared at the following rates: Implements, etc.: Spring dray £12, cart saddle and breeching £2 7s 6d, 100 empty sacks od each, 3-leaf twitch harrows £3 12s 6d, single-furrow plough £2, 5-leaf set of tine harrows £4 10s, chair harrows £5,^ double-furrow plough £7 10s,' block and tackle £1 5s per set, grubber £11, sulky. £2 ss, dray and frame £10,. plough chains £1 10s, leading chains '20s, drill £14, Horses: Black filly (3yrs) £35, ; bay filly (3yrs) £33, brown mare £39, chestnut mare Oyrs) £1A grey mare £17, brown hack mare (syrs) £10 10s. bay hack gelding (7yrs) £30. Sundries sold at full market value.
