WEEKLY POULTRY MARKET REPORT.
The Canterbury Co-operative Egg, Poultry, and Produce Company, Ltd. (late C. R. Wilson and Co.), Tuam Street, Christchurch, reports a good entry of poultry for its sale on Saturday. The quality was good, and prices, obtained were very satisfactory throughout. The following are the prices obtained: Roosters, according to quality to 7s 9d; hens, special quali-, ty to 6s r6d, medium to 3s 6d; pullets to 7s 6d; ducks, 3s 7d to Bs'; geese, 6s to 7s 6(1; turkeys, 6s to 14s 6d, all at per pair. Eggs and Butter. —Fresh eggs, Is 8d to Is lOd. preserved, Is 3Jd to Is 4d. Good dairy butter, 9*d to lOd per lb. Best cheese, 6d per Ib. Special Note. —Our pedigree sale commences next Saturday, Juno 12th.
