LICENSING MATTERS.
Per Presa Association. WOODVILLE, June 5. At the licensing meeting yesterday the whole of the licenses m the district were renewed, with the exception of that of the H«-bertville Hotel, which was adjourned for three months to allow of the transfer of tho license. The Oohanga ferry accommodation license fee was raised from £5 to £20. Two I licensees were severely warned of their ' personal conduct. The annual meeting will m future be held at Pahiatua. The chairman, Mr James, S.M., highly complimented . Constable Brosnahan, j clerk of the committee for the last eleven years, who is now retiring, on the efficiency of his work.
