THE WHEAT MARKET.
LONDON, June 4. Wheat.—The wheat markets are quiet. Since the holidays there has been a rather firmer tone owing to them in America and the unfavourable weather reports from Argentine. Cargoes are firmly held. A-cargo was sold at 43s 9d, while 44s 6d is asked, for January-February shipments, 43s 6d for April shipments, 44s 3d for steamers' parcels now due. There is good enquiry for Australian on spot at ,475-to 475. 6d. There is no New Zea* land wh&at here, The American visible supply is 31,084,000 bushels. Wool.—The Bradford wool market is firm and unchanged.
