CHRISTOHURCH, June 4. Wheat.—The local wheat market remains stagnant, and very little business is being transacted. Prices remain unchanged. ,Oats.—There isa much better tone m the market, and sales have been made at,ls 6^d for Gartons and Duns,, and Is 9d for Algerians, at country, stations. . Ryegrass.—Special enquiry is being experienced for Italian ryegrass, and lines have been sold locally at Is ,9d' and 2s. Contrary to expectations,'" stocks m Southland are somewhat scarce, and seed has been placed there this week at equal t6 2s 9d, on trucks, at Invercargill.
