EXPENDITURE ON AEROPLANES.
Received February 24, 11 p.m. LONDON, February 24. In the Hoiifie of Commons, Mr T. Maopherson asked Mr Haldano to-stop the waste of money on aeroplanes. In reply, Mr Haldano said that £19,000 had already been expended, bno added that the future policy was under consideration. He preferred not to. answer the question, whether 6teps were being taken to secure the services or assistance of Messrs, Wright brothers, as aeronauts.
