Mr H. Matson and Co. offered several town and suburban properies at the Arcade, but bidding was not brisk, and as owners' ideas of value were not being reached, the properties were passed m unsold. A section containing 32 perches on which is erected a small cottage, situated m South Street Hampstead, the property of Mr P. Anderson, was commenced at £60, and passed m at £80. On account of Mr Shcenan, the same auctioneering firm offered his small property at Hampstead, consisting of Lot 9, containing 37 perches, on which is erected small whare, also stable, trapshed, and loft. —The property was passed m at £50. Mr 1?. J. Hughes' property, containing fronting Church Street, Hampstead, on which is erected cottage of five rooms, detached washhouse and other improvements, was also offered and was passed m atidS26o.
Messrs Friedlander Bros., Ltd., offered, on account of Mr John McCann, "Westerfield, his farm of 356 acres. The property was passed m.
