Wool Sale.
United Press Association-—By Eleotrio Teleraph. Dunkdin Feb. 3. The third wool sale opened this morning. One firm catalogued 940 bales, of which only 81 were passed. The result is considered very satisfactory, considering the decided decline m the market since last sale. For pieces and bellies excellent rates were realised. The average drop m orosebred wools is from Jd to |d; halfbreds were much on a par with last sale. The demand for merinos, if anything, was better than last sales. Average prices dropped to id. Top prices were lOfd for crosflbreds, 10£ d for halfbreds, lOd for merinos, though no choice lines were Offered m the lattes class.
