Eeceived Feb. 1, 8.26 a.m. St. Petersburg. Jan. 31 The aristocracy are alarmed lest General TrepofiE'B powers of exile be abused. The barristers resolved to contribute monthly to assist the victims of the recent violence. The troops by volleying drove inoffensive strikers at Riga into the sea, and numbers were drowned. Fishermen rescued many. Paris, Jan. 31 After a meeting at Paris to protest against the violence m Russia, a Russian who took part m the meeting, being jostled, accidentally dropped a bomb m the street, It exploded, injuring himself and four others. Among sixty arrests recently made are sixteen Russians, many of them being Anarchists.
