Au official message from St. Petersburg states that Thursday's attack on Port : Arthur was renewed, and the attempt to blook the harbour lasted three hours. St. Petersburg, Feb. 26 Upon receipt of Admiral Alexieff's erroneous telegram that the Russians on Wednesday had sunk battleships and transports, the Te Deum was sung at St. Petersburg, the C zar and Ozarina being present. Beklin, Feb 26 The Berlin " Post's " St. Petersburg correspondent says that there is a wild ware of Anglophobia raging among all classes, from Cou,rt circles to the. peasantry. All are convinced that Japan is merely Britain's advance agent, in the war.
