Panic Stricken Depositors
A Bellicose Journal Warns Britain and America.
St Petersburg, Feb. 26
A run has occurred on the Busstan Savings Banks. M. Kokovsov, the newly appointed Minister of Finance, has assured the depositors that their money will not be used for Imperial purposes and that the Government is responsible for the safety of the deposits.
The Moscow "Gazette" threatens Great Britain and the United States if they try to intervene in the war, and adds that Russia is determined to crush Japan and occupy Korea and become a permanent factor in the Far East.
