Wreck*. Auckland, August 14. The Janet cutter, from Norfolk Island, brings intelligence of two wrecks at the Islands. The Mary OgiJvie, a regular trader between Sydney, Lord Howe Island, and Norfolk Island, during a gale was driven ashore and wrecked. Captain Garth and crew came to Auckland in fche Janet. The ship Girvan was wrecked at Lord Howe Island in June. The crew were rescued by the barque George Thomp'on, which landed at the Island. The Girvan left Newcastle on June 3, with 1997 tons coal. In a pale off Lord Howe Island on June 9, the vessel was thrown on her beam ends, causing the cargo to shift. She was steadily settling down ia the water, and preparations W3re made by Ceptain Angus and the crew to leave her.
