Glenorchy 11 March 1875 My dear Donald I dare say you will think me very carless in not answering your last from Auckland but having expected you before any letter from me would get to you prevented me from answering it. I need not say that I regrate not doing so at the time as by yesterday's paper we see you have not been so well in Auckland. I trust it was nothing serious or likely to be lasting. I am convinced that you are overworking yourself and you must know that with all your intergrity and wish to do more than the pain
