McDougald has fenced a place at the head of Spur Nairn. I was on the line twice. Their could be no mistake their but where is the next part of the fence to be is what I want to know. Will it come halfe round the Whakapiro on both sides if so it will make a mess. However it will not be fenced for some time. I will not let McDougald fence when he likes. I wanted the fence long ago and he or Kinross would not fence then. If they agree to a proper line let the work be done. I could say a great deal more about this matter and Kinross but I shall leave it till my next [incomplete letter]
