5 November 1862 My dear Donald We finished the drafting yesterday and if the wash pool will be ready in time we will wash tommorrow. Alexander sayes that we may commence to shear on Saturday as there is only 6 1/2 barrs of soap at the station and having all white men they will likely want a barr of soap the piece so that it would be well to get a box of the Liverpool soap large barrs that we sell here for 2/6 each.
