Turanga 24th. July 1865. Donald McLean Esq. My dear Sir, I enclose for your information, an account of proceedings at a Hau Hau meeting held yesterday. I send the original, as given me by a native. You will perceive our difficulties are thickening. Hemi Putopu is a brother of Paratene Potiti. I shall advise the Government party to postpone the erection of the Pa at Turanga. till, on your arrival we may decide on the best course to proceed.
