Napier Oct. 29th 1868 My dear McLean I shall be anxious to hear what has been decided on at Wairoa - I feel that the prisoners cannot be left at large in peace, to menace any portion of the Province as they may please - However we can better talk these matters over than write about them - I trust you have health and strength to go through with your work.
