Listen, all people who see or know of this paper giving up, or parting with, land; written on this day, that is on the fifteenth day of May in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and fortynine years, 1849. Now we, the Chiefs and people of Ngatiapa, of Mangawhero and other places, do hereby fully consent, on behalf of ourselves, our children, relations, and all who hereafter may be born, or descended of us, to entirely give up and abandon all our lands, the boundaries of which are herein written, and the likeness or description of which is shown
