Auckland Mar. 26th 1859 My dear McLean, I had written you fully and there are several official letters referred to you at Wellington - but hearing that the Govr. is coming back in the 'Lord Worsley' - hourly expected - I do not send by this opportunity lest you should come with the Govr. - the return of the Worsley will give us another opportunity in a few days - the mail is being kept open for this - all here is quiet - nothing of any importance stirring among the natives - Yours sincerely Thos. H. Smith D. McLean Esq.
