Whiteley Wesleyan Missionary at Kawhia, at whose Station you will call, will be requested to accompany you to New Plymouth, and under that Gentlemans countenance and favor, your introduction to the natives will be of the most favorable character. You will also have the goodness to report as speedily as possible to me, the number of natives and the exvent of their cultivations in your district, especially with reference to the limits of the Companys claim - say from Ngamotu on the South, to Te Tamioa on the North.
