I wrote Brooke Taylor about getting some forms of summons for the Jury in Augt. printed and sent me, but the post has brought none - Would you ascertain if he has sent them, and if not, please forward them by any oppy. occurring between this and Monday. I shall leave here on Monday afternoon most probably and be with you early on Tuesday. No news from Taranaki - provoking. Lots of recruits for Defence force I hear. In haste Yours always H. R. Russell The Judge has asked me to procure the use of the Provincial Pilot boat for him to land in, which I suppose you will arrange. We must do the thing well this Assize.
