Napier 1 April 1869. Dear McLean, I have hews from Hamlin with one intercepted letter from Te Koote, you shall have all as soon as I have telegraphed to Wellington. Paul Hope wishes our people to wait in bush near Rununga to get Te Koote out in the plain. I will ask from Wellington what is to be done. Yours faithfully, C. Lambert.
