What I said to you in my letter, ''that if I found the arrangements which had been agreed upon between us during my last visit, were being disregarded, and set aside, I should cease to visit the Kuiti. I said what I believed was the right thing to do. Even now, should you permit this contemplated visit or hui, for Te Kihirini, I shall then certainly stop going; for it is my opinion that disturbances and trouble will come out of this gathering.
