Memo. from G. Eyre, to Mr. Domett, The Lieutenant-Governor to write to Mr. Fox relative to 2nd. Instalment of Rangitikei purchase. dated 15th. July 1850. Mr. Domett, Inform Mr. Fox in reference to the correspondence which has taken place between himself and the Local Government, - on the subject of his paying the 2nd. Instalment due upon the Rangitikei purchase by a Bill upon England which whould be cashed by the Manager of the Union of Australia here, upon being endorsed by the Colonial Treasurer that having reported the circumstances connected with that correspondence, to Sir. G. Gray. I am instructed by His Excellency to direct the Colonial Treasurer to receive the Bill in question and endorse it. Instruct the Colonial Treasurer accordingly. (Signed) G. Eyre. 15th.
