[August 1851] My dearest daughter With much pleasure your Papa and myself received your letters and we were rejoiced to learn you had arrived in safety and that tho slightly indisposed you are again better. I do not feel any worse, indeed much the same but I hope soon to be well again. Miss Kelly leaves us this afternoon but has promised to return on Monday to spend the fornoon. Amongst other things which you left behind I see you left your purse which is onsent. I send also the pills. Be careful of your health and be a comfort to your husband
