I informed you before that all surveys under the control of Hon. Native Minister have been placed under the management of the Inspector of Surveys. All surveys on West Coast are under Mr. Marchant as his Deputy whose appointment has been Gazetted. There are no personal feelings in the matter. Captn. Wray must take his orders from Mr. Marchant and Mr. Marchant must carry out the instructions that he receives from his superior officer.
