MANY HELPERS AT Y.W.C.A.
Apart from the regular helpers at the Y.W.C.A. at the weekend, were the following additional helpers :—Members of the Wellington Women’s Croquet Association girls of the Census
mid Statistics Department and of. the National Broadcasting Service /"members of the Central Baptist Church ; members of the Wellington Basketball Association. Air. N. Seddon Conducted a .service yesterday and a concert was given by a party organized' by- Mr. P. Cousins. Artists included Misses Molly Newman. Hazel Martin. Blanche Godier;aiid the ’Victoria League junior players.
Generous gifts of fresh vegetables were welcomed from the W.W.S.A. land girls at Russell Terrace and from a W.D.F.U; group.’
The dance at the association’s W.A.A.F club on Saturday was well attend. d. Girls from the technical training school section were in charge f arrangements and were' helped by Ir. and Mrs. Rountree, Mrs. Tennel.and 'dr. Brake.
