Military Camps Match INVITATION TO WAIOURU , The management committee of the Wellington thicket Association, at its weekly meeting last evening, decided to invite a team from Waiouru military camp to play a match against a Combined Services eleven, including players from Trentham military camp and the Air Force, at the Basin Reserve/ Wellington, on December 5 and 6. The chairman, Mr. .1. D. Howitt, said that now it had been decided not to play-the Town v. Country match this season, they should endeavour to comply with the wishes of the Waiouru ('amp team to play a match in Wellington. The idea was that, the match between .the miltary teams should start on the Friday afternoon, and be concluded on the .Saturday. , Senior : chainponship games would be continued on the Saturday afternoon, but the game between Army and Air Force set down for that day would be cancelled. The chairman’s suggestions were agreed to', and it was decided to forward-invi-tations to the military camps concerned to. play the match.
