Heavy Demands On A.N.A. z Cafeteria
The popularity of the A.N.A. > Club continues. Last weekend and during [he week, crowds of men availed themselves of • the many club facilities. Heavy demands were, made on the voluntary cafeteria staffs, but thanks to generous hampers from the'Tinu'i, Lansdowne branch of the W.D.F.U., through Mrs. J. Andrews, the Dannevirke Patriotic Society, the Martinborough Mayoress’ Committee, through Mr. 11. Hardy, and from Carterton and . Featherston, all demands were met.
. Among those who assisted in the cafeteria during the, week were members of : the English-Speaking Union, convened by Mrs. J. S. yinsen, Air Force Relati ms and A.N.A. committee women and helpers.
As an expression of their appreciation of the club's hospitality, the canteen committee of a naval' vessel gave a substantial- donation,.' and this has been expended on a useful and muchneeded large wall clock in the cafe-, teria to be known by the name of the donors’ ships.
