4. Appreciation Of Behaviour A. AND P. ASSOCIATION'S LETTER Sincere appreciation of the manner hi which the officers and men of the Maori Battalion have behaved during their occupation of the showgrounds was expressed by the Manawatu V\ est Coast A and P. Association in a letter forwarded to Lieutenant-Colonel G. Dittmer, office: commanding the battalion. Copies arc also to be sent to the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff.
