SCHOOL OF METHODS.
Nov. 7. A “School of Methods" was held in the Temperance room, by the Auckland District I’nion of the VV.C.T.r. Mrs. Hush Kasper presided. There was a good attendance of officers. Superintendents of Departments and representatives from the various Branches. At the morning session. “Parliamentary procedure," Chairmanship, Duties of officers and the development of self-con-fidence, Mental power and Personality were the subjects studied. At the afternoon session the subject of “Fool Reform” and its connection with alcoholism was the subject dealt with. Mrs. Tennetl gave a very interesting address on the subject. Mrs. Pace, the Secretary, was farewelled on her departure for Australia.
The Auckland District Union held a “School of Methods,” on October 3rd. Mrs. H. Kaspar presided. The public speaking lessen was given and some of the members r n ad parts for the Pageant. At the afternoon session a choir practice was held and the work of the Supts. explained, the Treasurer giving the stationery and postage for their work. The session closed with chain prayer.
