WAIROA.
The Church and Sunday School look much more respectable m their new coats of paint. The Vestry are anxious also to lay down bitunien m the churchyard and hope to be able to do it soon. A meeting of parishioners recently decided once more to try the better way of direct giving m place of the annual, fete. Some of our young people took up the idea with avidity and determination. They have worked hard and organised well. The result to date is £ 155; they
liope to get £2QO, If they are successful, our accounts will once .more be balanced. Miss "Billy" Davis has taken over the charge of the senior Sunday School. She is assisted by Miss Lucy Coghlan. • Thanks to the energy of two of our Choir members, a number of boys .have been persuaded to join. After .a few months' experience they should prove of great assistance.
