Dannevirke-cum-Matamau and Bush Districts.

Vicar: Rev. E. Robertsham, B.A. Curate; Rev. C. E.Nicholas. The Usual monthly meeting was helti- in S- John's Church on "the 15th of July. Theire was a large attendance and' the following wtere admitted as members of the tWaon :—Mesdames Edith Pearson, C. E. Poolman, Olive Mollgaard, E. Brown, M. Christiansen. The service was held by the Rev. A; Robertsliawe, after, which an adjourhm'ent was made to the Parish Hall, Mrs Grueseri presiding. . The minutes of the previous meeting were read and c6nfirmed and correspondence was received from Miss Braithwait giving an account of the council .meeting m Naoier, Received. Songs were rendered by Mesdames Dans and Poolmian, and an interesting reading by Mrs Salt was followed by afternoon tea which w&s dispensed by Mesdames James Grillmoiir and H. Knight.
