Province of; ?N.ew Zealand compiled by the Bisnops at the request of the General Synod. That the whole of the expenses of Maori Work m Hawkels Bay should be defrayed by the Maoris themselves from endowments and direct contributions. \ 6. That the stipends of the Maori Clergy m the Districts of Tauranga, Whangara, Takomaru, Hikurangi, Waiapu, Kawakawa and Te Kaha should be similarly defrayed by the Maoris. ; 7. That the Superintendents impress upon the Maoris the necessity for insuring all Church buildings. 8. That the Bishop .be requested to. appoint collectors m the different Archdeaconries with a view to extinguishing the present debit balance. 9. That the Maoris m the respective Archdeaconries be assessed towards the expenses of the Special Session of Synod as follows :— Tauranga £3,- Waiapu £25, and Hawke's Bay . Re Stipend Diocesan Missioner.— Report adopted. Re new parochial districts.—Resolved " That the Parochial Districts as set out m the report of the Boundaries Commission as published m the Di6cesan Synod •report of 1912.be constituted and names be amended where necessary at next meeting- of this Committee." .-.,'.,'.. The following regulations, under the Loan Canon were adopted and directed to be forwarded to the Diocesan Trustees : — i. /That all applications for Loans [ iuSi^fer ;;'Diocesan : ' Canon XII. shall !.be' accompanied: by the copy of . resolution that . the amount to be borrowed had been authorised

and passed at a duly constituted meeting of ; the parishioners, set . out m, the form supplied with . the application. .: , : . , .■.-., 2. Henley, Mr F. Logan arid- Archdeacon Ruddock, with authority to issue Debentures and make all ; necessary legal arrangements. The Assessment of Parishes and Districts for expenses of Special Session of Synod was confirmed. A loan of ,£ 100 was granted for Church building at T e Ruhunga on land being vested m Diocesan Trustees.- •"■ - • • The tender of Messrs. Ball & Co. for . printing the Diocesan - " Gazette," 19 14-15 was accepted. J Accounts were passed and payments authorised to be made m connection with the Military Camps Institutes. *
