Henry Wilson , stealing from the person, arrested by the Dunedin Police, sentenced to 2 -months imprisonment. James M i Nicol assault with intent to commit highway robbery, has been arrested by the -Dunedin Police, and committed for trial. Mary'Allen, vagrancy, arrested by Dunedin Police and sentenced to 3 month’s imprisonment.
Joseph De Wolfe , obtaining goods under false pretences, arrested by the Port Chalmers Police, has been committed for trial. Charles Boyle , larceny, arrested by Port Chalmers Police, sentenced to 4 month’s imprisonment with hard labor. William Johnston, stealing from a tent, arrested by Dunedin Police, and sentenced to 14 days imprisonment with hard labor. William James , larceny, arrested by Dunedin Police, sentenced to 6 weeks imprisonment with hard labor. Henry Gray , deserter from H. M. 70 regiment of foot at Auckland, apprehended by Dunedin Police, has been remanded back to Auckland to his regiment. r Hale, deserter from H.M. 70th regiment of foot at Auckland, apprehended by the Mount Ida Police, has been remanded to his regiment at Auckland. Michael Fitzgerald , obtaining money under false pretences, arrested by the Queenstown Police, and sentenced to 1 month’s imprisonment with hard labor. Thomas Moore, - vagrancy, arrested by the Queenstown Police, sentenced to 6 weeks, imprisonment with hard labor.
